Lesvos – August, 8

We raised our anchor and were underway by 7am to make the 60 miles of navigation to Lesvos. Beautiful sailing for half the crossing and then the wind was shifting and eventually died or was un-predictable. Motoring the last way to Lesvos we were greeted by dolphins which swam close to the bow and were visible many meters under the clear water. Just to say “ciao” they soon left but another group of dolphins did the same as we entered the large bay. After we anchored  our friend Luciano on the boat “Rascasse” surprised us and anchored next to us. A very good passage with lots of laughter, sailing, and for dinner we had fried chicken.
